PUTRAJAYA, May 9, 2025 — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has dismissed claims in a viral TikTok video alleging that a senior SPRM officer pressured Datin Seri Pamela Ling Yueh to settle her

divorce during an investigation.
An internal probe confirmed the officer had no direct involvement in the investigation of Pamela Ling and never met her.
The officer has lodged a police report and filed a complaint with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), labeling the video’s content as defamatory and malicious.
The officer denies all accusations and has handed the matter to authorities for further investigation into those spreading the false claims.
SPRM urged the public to refrain from sharing unverified and defamatory information, warning that it could mislead the public and disrupt the ongoing police investigation into Pamela Ling’s case, which is currently classified as a missing person case.
