KOTA KINABALU: Kadamaian State Assemblyman, Datuk Ewon Benedick, said the Kadamaian Development Master Plan 2020-2035 will be presented as a key input to the State and Federal Governments for the implementation of the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13) from 2026 to 2030.
Ewon, who is also the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, stated that the development plan is the result of the aspirations and participation of the Kadamaian people themselves, formulated since 2020 and evaluated by the Sabah Institute for Development Studies (IDS) last year after its first five years of implementation.
“The people of Kadamaian have come up with the Kadamaian Development Master Plan 2020-2035, launched in 2020. An evaluation study of this plan was conducted by IDS Sabah last year,” he said.
Ewon said the updated plan, along with the evaluation study, will be submitted to the Sabah Chief Minister, the State Cabinet Ministers, and the Federal Government as Kadamaian’s development aspirations for RMK13.
“I will present this plan to the Right Honourable Chief Minister, the Honourable State Government Ministers, and the Federal Government as input, proposals, and aspirations for Kadamaian’s development during the RMK13 period,” he said.
Ewon also expressed gratitude to all parties supporting the plan and hoped that the planned development efforts would continue to be blessed and bring comprehensive benefits to the people of Kadamaian.
