KUALA LUMPUR, May 10, 2025 – Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil has announced his candidacy for the Central Leadership Council (MPP) of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (KEADILAN) in the party’s election this year, emphasizing his commitment to the reform struggle rather than personal ambition.
In a statement, Fahmi highlighted his over two-and-a-half-decade journey with the Reformasi movement, from street protests to Putrajaya, advocating for justice for the oppressed and working to rebuild a fairer, more transparent system for all Malaysians.
“KEADILAN is not just a political party but a platform for principled reform. The central leadership must reflect the values of integrity, dedication, and courage that we have upheld since 1998,” Fahmi said.
He called for the trust of party members to elevate KEADILAN to greater heights, not just for the current generation but for the future of Malaysia.
