Audi launches locally assembled Q7 S Line in Malaysia

● The 7-seater flagship is priced from RMXXX,xxx, excluding Audi Assurance Package (AAP).

● Powered by a 3.0-litre V6 MHEV (Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle) engine and permanent all-wheel drive quattro system.

KUALA LUMPUR, 8 May 2025 – PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) today made history with the launch of the first locally assembled Audi SUV, the Q7 S line.

Priced from RMXXX,xxx the 7-seater SUV Audi Q7 S line strengthens Audi presence in the premium luxury segment in Malaysia, and in the region. Audi’s inaugural Completely Knocked Down (CKD) SUV in Southeast Asia was launched today at the Malaysia AutoShow 2025 in MAEPS Serdang.

The flagship SUV boasts a striking athletic form characterised by bold lines and S line trim that enhances both its exterior and interior. Also as standard is the Black Styling Package Plus, which adds to the striking accents to the exterior look of the Q7.

Sophisticated, Elegant Exterior

The Q7’s exterior is defined by its S line styling, featuring distinctive front and rear bumpers along with side skirting that emphasises its sporty character. With the Black Styling Package Plus, the Q7’s athletic aesthetic is enhanced through the black Audi Singleframe mask and Q7 model badge, while the front and rear Audi rings are in anthracite grey. A roof edge spoiler and 22-inch Audi Sports 5-V-spoke star wheels further accentuate its imposing stature.

Four exterior colour choices are available – Glacier White, Waitomo Blue and Mythos Black are metallic options, and Daytona Grey with pearl effect.

Powerful Driving Performance

For superior driving performance, the Q7 is powered by a 3.0-litre TFSI V6 petrol engine delivering an output of 250kW/340PS and an impressive 500Nm of torque The 48V mild-hybrid system boosts efficiency, and cuts emissions — all while delivering smoother, faster restarts and seamless coasting up to 160 km/h. No plug-in, just pure performance with smarter power. From standstill, the Q7 reaches 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and continues to a maximum speed of 250 km/h.

Power goes through an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission with intelligent distribution to all four wheels by the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. Every turn grips harder, every move feels sharper — giving the driver power, control, and confidence in every corner.

With Audi Drive Select, the driver can choose from up to seven different modes to suit different terrains and operating conditions optimally. Depending on the mode (selected via the MMI touchscreen), Drive Select customises aspects such as throttle response, suspension dampening, and steering feel.

Audi Adaptive Air Suspension Sport intelligently adjusts to every drive, delivering a smooth, composed ride with dynamic agility — effortlessly balancing comfort and control in every setting. On rough ground, the vehicle’s ride height can be raised by up to 60 mm (from the normal ride height) while for cruising on highways, it can be lowered by 30 mm for better aerodynamics and stability.

All-wheel steering takes agility and stability to the next level. At low speeds, it reduces effort and tightens turns for effortless manoeuvring, while at higher speeds, it enhances precision and stability, making every drive sharper, and more responsive.

Distinctive and Delightful 

HD Matrix LED headlights with Audi Laser Light make a debut in this Q7. This includes digital daytime running lights with selectable light signatures. While the advanced HD Matrix LED headlights can optimise the shape of the beam extensively, Audi Laser Light (recognizable by the blue marker in the reflector) extends the range to almost double that of the main beam.

Technology and Sophistication

The Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus brings the road to life with customizable displays, including dynamic, sport, and classic modes. Enjoy seamless navigation, media, and driving data, all on a stunning 12.3-inch screen, with intuitive controls at your fingertips.

Spacious and Ergonomically Enhanced

S line touches in the interior of the Q7 include Valcona leather Sports Seat Plus with embossed S badge for the two front seats, and a flat-bottomed leather steering wheel with paddle shifters.

Accessibility to the third row for two additional passengers can be electronically adjusted to fold down flat. For maximum cargo volume, it is possible to fold the second row which will expand the available space to a massive 1,908 litres.

Loading is convenient with the powered tailgate activated by the kick sensor under the bumper. For loading of heavy items, the vehicle can be lowered by 40 mm by pressing a button in the cargo compartment.

Each new Q7 comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty with no limit on mileage. With an additional RMxxxxx, customers may opt for Audi Assurance Package (AAP) which adds 3 years of manufacturer warranty coverage (total of 5 years) or up to 150,000 kms (whichever occurs first). AAP also includes 5 years/75,000 kms maintenance service (whichever occurs first) as well as complimentary 5 years roadside assistance.
